The puppies are so grown up now. They love to run outside and play. and they love their Aunt Lily, our 12 year old rescue Bichon Frisé. I turned a video of them all piling on her at the same time and turned it in to a TikTok. 🤣

The puppies were old enough that they should no longer be nursing. Mama wanted to play with them but they kept trying to nurse.

Time to Say Goodbye to Professor, Eunice, Thurston, & Gilligan
When the puppies turned 7 weeks old it was time for them to be split up among fosters. This is to help us keep our sanity. Seven 7-week old puppies are a lot to handle! We kept Ginger, Skipper, Mary Ann, and Mama Shyanne. A friend of our neighbors already adopted Ginger so she was just waiting to be old enough to finish her vaccines and go to her new home.
It was so hard to say goodbye even though we knew they were going to good foster homes and then adopted by good families. I put my glasses on to cover up my tears. 🥹
