We started the 2024 wine and chocolate tour at the Spring Hill winery. Since we were attending Saturday and Sunday, we stayed overnight at His Majesty’s Bed and Breakfast.

Spot, Ferdinand, Sparkles, Cole, Petey & Cammie
On January 26, 2024 we picked up 6 puppies from Geauga Mama Dogs and pups! We only kept three but the other foster needed somewhere for her three to stay until she was able to take them. So Spot, Ferdinand, Sparkles, Cole, Petey and Cammie all came home with us and all got baths. Ellie was a great helper as always! The next day Cole, Petey and Cammie were picked up so we were down to three puppies. Six puppies is a lot at one time! Below are pictures Eleanor took of each puppy.
Charlie and Dexter
The first picture below is of Charlie and Dexter on their way to our house. In the video, Dexter is trying to figure out how to use the dog bed. They were such cute puppies. We think they are a Hound/Beagle mix. They are goofy and clutzy and have […]
Scout, Mollie, and Colton
When we first got them, Scout, Mollie, and Colton had kennel cough. Colton got sick, which I talk about more below. Mollie was very fluffy but skinny, so she could squeeze through the bars in our omni-pen. We had to wrap an X-pen around the omni-pen. She learned how to […]
One Year Puppy Fosterversary
Today was our one year Foster-versary with Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups. We fostered 54 puppies our first year and had a lot of laughs, puppy snuggles and kisses and some heart wrenching moments. I wanted a way to give back and this is it. Fostering has changed our lives!
Autumn and Sky
We thought Autumn and Sky were Pomeranian-Husky mix. They were so small and so stinking cute! They had the cutest and loudest husky howls. Our webcams would alert that a CO2 alarm was detected when they really got going!
Lisbon 2023
Lisbon, Portugal. Our fourth and final stop of our 2023 European Vacation. We stayed in the historic area with cobblestone streets and sidewalks and lots of hills! We saw lots of historic sites, sampled lots of delicious food and even enjoyed the beach!
Barcelona 2023
We traveled from Paris to Barcelona, Spain via a 7-hour train ride. It was nice to relax, regroup and get our blog site a little updated.
Barcelona has some really amazing architecture. Their city blocks are all the same size and shape and are each a self-contained neighborhood.
Paris 2023
We took the Eurostar high-speed train from London to Paris. The train ride was smooth, but we arrived at rush hour in Paris, which caused a bit of a rough start. A little bit of a fiasco with the apartment we were supposed to be staying in, but it all got straightened out.
London 2023
Finally! Off to Europe – we started planning this trip in 2019 before Covid! A couple reschedules later, and we’re finally here. After a brief layover in Lisbon, our first stop is London.
